Agnieszka Odorowicz

Since 2016, she has been a member of the board of directors of Cyfrowy Polsat SA, responsible for film production and television studios. From 2005 to 2015 Director of the Polish Film Institute, Former Deputy Minister of Culture (2004–2005), responsible for the legal department, economic department, European affairs and cooperation with Parliament. Awarded the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta for outstanding contributions to national culture, for achievements in activities for the development of Polish film art. Responsible for such film productions as: “Najlepszy” [Breaking the Limits] dir. Ł. Palkowski, “Najmro” [The Getaway King] dir. M. Rakovich, “Narzeczony na niby” dir. B. Prokopovich, “Jak poślubić milionera” [How to Marry a Millionaire] by F. Zylber, and “To musi być miłość” [It Must Be Love] by M. Rogalski. She co-produced “Jak zostałem gangsterem” [How I Became a Gangster], dir. M. Kawulski, “Psy 3. W imię zasad” [Pigs 3] by W. Pasikowski, “Nieznajomi” [Perfect Strangers] dir. T. Sliwa, “Niepodległość [Independence] dir. K. Talczewski.

From 2001 to 2009 she was a researcher at the Department of Trade and Market Institutions at the Cracow University of Economics, author of publications on cultural management, cultural economics and regional promotion. In 2003-2004 she was a plenipotentiary of the Minister of Culture for structural funds, responsible for negotiations with the European Commission on the use of EU funds for the development of cultural infrastructure. From 1997 to 2003, she served as artistic director of the International Competition of Contemporary Chamber Music, and producer of dozens of programs for public television. In 2014-2015, she served as a member of the Supervisory Board of Polskie Radio SA. She is a graduate of the Cracow University of Economics, an economist and cultural manager by profession.
